Collaboration with David Weber<\/h2>

WoodKit PRO is the brainchild of engineer and shaper David Weber, a pioneer in hollow wooden boards. With more than 15 years perfecting digital plans, Weber combines structural calculation principles with a surfer’s sensibility: he has taught in-person workshops in Brazil, Mexico and Europe, and his designs are downloaded worldwide. CONTENTS OF THE DAVID WEBER KIT<\/h2>\nWhen you open the box you will find the pre-cut internal skeleton -longitudinal stringers and numbered transverse ribs-, smooth calibrated plates for deck and bottom, lateral strips already shaped to form the rails and solid blocks for strategic reinforcements (keel box, leash plugs or footstraps in the case of SUP). All the elements are labeled so that you can locate them without doubts and are accompanied by an illustrated step-by-step guide. TABLE CONSTRUCTION<\/h2>\nThe entire process can be tackled in a long weekend if you have the basic carpentry tools and a ventilated space for laminating. The first day the skeleton is assembled on the jig, the ribs are glued and the rocker is attached. On the second day it is time to cover with the planks, shape the rails and place the keel inserts or leash. After a light sanding, all that remains is the lamination with fiberglass or hemp and the final finish of your choice.
